Adventure Tips

Wear Lightweight, Quick-Dry Clothing

Dress in breathable fabrics that dry quickly to stay comfortable during the night paddling experience.

Apply Bug Spray Before Departure

The mangrove environment attracts mosquitoes, so bring and use insect repellent to avoid bites.

Avoid Using Flashlights or Phone Lights

Bright lights reduce the visibility of bioluminescence, so keep light use minimal to enhance the glow effect.

Bring a Waterproof Phone Case

Protect your phone for photos, but be mindful to use it in a way that doesn’t harm the environment or disturb the water.
