Waties Island Tour
Paddle with us on our 3 hour Private Barrier Island Tour which offers a unique opportunity for shelling, swimming, and sunbathing on a beach that is accessible only by boat. We time this tour to catch the falling tide out to the island and the rising tide back in for an easier paddle. Our experienced guides will be there every step of the way for the best experience possible.
During this kayak tour you will:
- Kayak through the pristine marsh channels to Waites Island, one of the few undeveloped barrier islands on the east coast of South Carolina
- Experience what is only accessible to the public by boat.
- See Birds such as Blue Herons, Bald Eagles, Osprey, Ducks, Egrets, and Pelicans
- Our warm summers bring in Loggerhead Sea Turtles which nest on the island. Bottle Nose dolphins can also be seen throughout the year frolicking in the waves or feeding on Redfish in the shallow creeks.
Paddle through the peaceful saltwater marsh and enjoy the solitude and serenity that this thriving ecosystem has to offer. Don't forget you camera for photo opportunities abound!
