Adventure tips

Respectful Dress CodeShoulders and knees must be covered at all three temples; carry a lightweight sarong or long shirt to comply with temple rules.

Hydration & HeatBring a 1L refillable water bottle and sip regularly—Bangkok’s heat and humidity make easy walking feel strenuous quickly.

Plan Morning StartAim for an early start to avoid crowds and mid-day heat—VIP access is most valuable during peak arrival times.

Watch Your Step at Wat ArunThe central prang slopes are steep and narrow; use caution on the climb and wear closed-toe shoes for better grip.

Recommended gear

Comfortable walking shoes: Supportive shoes help on uneven temple steps and extended standing during guided talks.
Lightweight long-sleeve or sarong: Required for temple entry and provides sun protection in open courtyards.
Refillable water bottle: Staying hydrated is essential in Bangkok’s tropical heat; many spots allow refills near tourist areas.
Compact umbrella or sunhat: Useful for sun protection or sudden tropical showers during the monsoon season.
