The private tour runs roughly 6–8 hours and visits three wineries—two in the morning and one after lunch—each offering 2–3 wine samples.
Transportation in an air-conditioned vehicle is included; the meeting point is Badger Tours beside Hotel Sana Sesimbra and the tour returns there.
Lunch is suggested at Portinho da Arrábida by the sea; menus vary and may be payable on-site unless otherwise specified in your booking.
Tastings are meant for adults; children can accompany the tour but won’t participate in wine sampling—inform the operator ahead for family accommodations.
The Setúbal Peninsula has long produced Moscatel and robust reds; Palmela’s castle and Azeitão’s small farms reflect centuries of viticulture and artisanal food traditions.
Arrábida Natural Park is a protected area—stay on marked roads and minimize waste; small wineries often follow sustainable practices to protect thin coastal soils.
