Time visits to avoid mid-day heatAsk your guide to schedule coastal stops earlier or later in the day to reduce sun exposure and crowds.

Recommended gear

Swimwear: For snorkeling, swimming and beach stops included in the itinerary.
Reef-safe sunscreen: Protects skin and nearby coral during shallow-water snorkeling and beach time.
Comfortable walking shoes: Light hikes, historic sites and rocky viewpoints are easier with supportive shoes.
Polarized sunglasses and a wide-brim hat: Reduces glare on water and helps with prolonged sun exposure during coastal stops.
