You step off the minivan at the forest edge and the air changes—cool, resin-scented, the Gutensteiner Alps pressing close. A path threads through conifers and rock slabs, climbing toward a ridge that suddenly opens to a clear view of the Schneeberg, its snow pockets holding like memories on the high flanks.

The tour is sold as a private half-day activity; expect about 4–5 hours total including transfers from the meeting point, the ascent, breaks at viewpoints, and return.
