Morning mist lifts off the Li River and the karst peaks stand like rough-hewn sculptures; on a private five-day loop from Yangshuo, the landscape alternates between river glass, cave chambers and stepped rice slopes. Travelers start with a gentle bamboo-raft glide on the Yulong — the current teasing the boat — then climb Xianggong Hill’s 400 steps for a panoramic view that frames the Li River’s meanders.
