Private 4-Hour Ibiza Yacht Charter: Midday Sailing, Open Bar & Swim Stops

Set sail from Sant Antoni de Portmany on a four‑hour private midday voyage that shows Ibiza’s west coast in vivid light. Departing from San Antonio Marina, this small-group charter welcomes up to ten guests aboard a luxury sailing yacht with an attentive crew, open bar, and light local snacks. The route changes with wind and weather, but common highlights include the dramatic cliffs around Illa Sa Conillera, the crystalline coves of Platges de Comte, and the sheltered anchorages where snorkels and paddleboards make exploration easy.

The experience balances unhurried relaxation with options for active play. Crew members lower the swim platform for long swims in turquoise water, rig paddleboards, and drop anchor in quiet calas where underwater visibility reveals posidonia meadows and small schools of Mediterranean fish. Back on deck, guests trade salt for cava and tapas-style finger food while the skipper shares local lore and navigational tips. For photographers, the yacht’s 360° sightlines frame cliff faces and translucent shallows in ways shore walks rarely match.

This outing is as well suited to families and multigenerational groups as it is to friends seeking a private escape: children under sixteen must be accompanied by adults, while seniors and pregnant guests are declared suitable. Practical details are straightforward—meet at the palm tree in the square on Passeig de la Mar in Sant Antoni, arrive fifteen minutes early, and bring swimwear and a towel if you plan to jump in. Trips run in most weather conditions; only dangerous seas trigger reschedules or refunds.

What sets this charter apart is its combination of intimacy and local knowledge. Operating from San Antonio—a portside town known for its waterfront energy—the crew selects lesser-known anchorages daily and points out geological notes such as the island’s limestone cliffs and calcareous sand pockets that create the vivid turquoise tones. A brief cultural aside: nearby Eivissa’s Dalt Vila is a UNESCO World Heritage site, a reminder that Ibiza pairs wild coastline with centuries of human history.

Bookers should expect a relaxed pace, personalized service, and possibilities for extras like on-board photography, live guitar, or special occasion decorations. Whether you want a midday dip under a hot Mediterranean sun or a slow sail toward a glowing sunset, this private four‑hour charter delivers a concise, luxurious introduction to Ibiza’s best coastal features.

The crew recommends sunscreen, reef-safe when possible, a hat, and reef shoes for rocky coves; they provide masks and snorkels but guests can bring their own gear for a fit. Groups mark birthdays or small celebrations here—operators can arrange cake, bouquets, and decorations on request. Evening sails convert the west coast into a theater of light: cliffs silhouette against long orange runs of sky while the water takes on reflections.
