Morning departures are calmerWind and chop increase in the afternoon; choose an early start for smoother snorkeling and clearer water.

Tip your crewCrew gratuities are not included; 15% is a common guideline for attentive private charters.

Recommended gear

Reef-safe sunscreen: Protects your skin and the coral; available for purchase at the marina.
Underwater camera or action cam: Captures reef life during snorkel stops and is resistant to salt spray.
Water shoes or sandals with grip: Useful for boarding, disembarking and walking on rocky beach approaches.
Light layers and hat: A windbreaker or UV shirt helps on breezy mornings and cooler late afternoons.
