You choose the general area in advance—options include the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, or Capitol Hill; meeting specifics are confirmed by the host.
Small private portrait sessions typically don’t need a formal permit, but large lighting setups, tripods, or commercial shoots on federal land may require approval from the National Park Service.
You get 20 edited photos delivered within 2–3 business days; unedited images can be shared immediately via AirDrop per the host’s inclusions.
The Mall follows L'Enfant’s city plan and became the nation’s ceremonial core, with monuments built across the 19th and 20th centuries to commemorate leaders and events.
The National Park Service manages the Mall—respect signage, avoid trampling turf, and pack out trash to protect these public landscapes.
