Nestled near the Mathis Pavilion, this secluded area allows you to immerse yourself in the great outdoors, just a short walk from modern amenities. Enjoy a unique blend of adventure and tranquility in a stunning natural setting.
Our primitive camping is a great way to experience our park's beautiful outdoors. Our regular Primitive Camping section is located near our Mathis Pavilion and has an entrance that you can drive up to and place your camping gear at. This spot offers a more secluded option, and is about a 150-yard walk from our RV camping area which has showers and a covered Pavilion.
Please arrive before 4:30pm in order to check into your campsite. Check-out is at 11am.
Majestic Caverns and its attractions are open Monday and Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. We will be closed Monday through Friday in January and February 2025.
