You step through a low stone threshold and the air changes—drier, warm, threaded with oak and sun-warmed grapes. Light filters across rows of barrels; the tasting room is intimate, voices lowered as if not to disturb the slow chemistry of aging. Kartal’s family hosts move between bottles and stories, inviting you to taste six oak-aged wines paired with local cheeses, cured meats, bread and olive oil.
