Description
On this 2 tank charter, we'll spend the morning and early afternoon diving in South Kona's incredible lava tubes, lush reefs, and a chance to view bigger pelagic animals such as whales, dolphins, or big fish on the ride down the coast. Or, venture North to experience unique reef structures and critter hideouts, or even drift around Kaiwi Point. Between your dives, enjoy a full lunch with views of the coastline.
Price includes tanks and weights. It's possible to rent equipment for an additional fee.
Dive Requirements
- You must have 25 logged dives and have been diving within the last 6 months
- You must have good buoyancy control and air consumption (at least 60 minutes on an 80cf tank, 100’s aren’t available)
- You must be in good health and have NO heart conditions
- 18 or older - under 18 considered with a JOW Rescue Diver Certification
- You must be able to converse in English
- You should be comfortable backrolling off the boat if necessary
- Must dive with a computer
- You must be able to dive in a dive group and not need more attention than what is normally provided on a guided dive
- You must remember there are other guests onboard that are looking for a premium experience so our standards MUST be met. Kindly be a responsible and considerate diver and respect these standards.

Meet Early and Prepared
Arrive at Honokohau Marina 15 minutes before departure and ensure waivers are signed by 5 PM the day prior.
Bring Your Dive Certification
A dive card (physical or e-card) is mandatory to participate; no certification means no dive.
Use Mineral-Based Sunscreen
Protect yourself and the reefs by applying only mineral sunscreens; chemical sunscreens are prohibited.
Maintain Good Buoyancy Control
This trip requires advanced buoyancy skills to safely navigate lava tubes and complex reef structures.
