A diesel truck rumbles across a dusty two-track and the red Navajo sandstone of East Zion opens like a raw wound in the desert. The group gathers at Zion Mountain Ranch, straps on helmets and harnesses, and slips into a world of narrow slots, steep drops, and wind-sculpted walls that seem to lean in and challenge each step.

The tour is about 6.5 hours (390 minutes) including off-road transit, approach, canyoneering with 4–5 rappels, and return to the meeting point at Zion Mountain Ranch.
No prior technical experience is required—guides provide ropes, helmets, and instruction—but participants should be comfortable with heights and basic rappelling under supervision.
