A pre-dawn hush holds Ghorepani as headlamps bob and the ridge begins to breathe light — that first stretch of trail to Poon Hill is a slow reveal, each switchback nudging you higher until the Annapurna range lifts into view. From Kathmandu you fly into Pokhara and drive to Sudame; over five days you move through terraced farmland, rhododendron forests and stony ridgelines, trading the drone of traffic for the measured pulse of trekking life.
