This unique offering brings the countryside’s charm directly to your party venue, delivering a hands-on hour filled with pony riding, leading, grooming, and creative mane activities. The star attractions are two adorable ponies, carefully selected and impeccably presented to ensure a calm, enjoyable environment. The certified staff managing these pint-sized equine guests prioritize safety while encouraging kids to take part actively—whether it’s mounting for a gentle ride, learning to lead a pony, or brushing their soft coats. Adding creative flair, children are invited to braid and decorate the ponies’ manes, turning each session into a memorable celebration.
Situated along the Christchurch Akaroa Road, Pony Parties caters primarily to local families and visitors in the Canterbury area, but offers flexible location options, bringing the farmyard magic right to your doorstep. The farm’s emphasis on personal attention and the joy of connection with animals offers a fresh take on outdoor recreation in this region, complementing the rugged landscape’s more strenuous pursuits with tender moments of animal companionship.
Aside from ponies, the inclusion of fluffy rabbits and guinea pigs adds variety, enhancing interaction opportunities in a safe, accessible setting. Whether for birthday parties or intimate small-group gatherings, Pony Parties & Their Farmyard Friends delivers a standout, nature-adjacent adventure particularly suited for young children looking to engage with animals in a positive, educational environment.
