Adventure Tips

Check Wind Conditions Before Renting

Pontoon rentals pause when wind speeds exceed 19 mph to ensure safe navigation in the Santa Rosa Sound.

Bring a Boater’s Safety License

Renters born after 1987 must carry a boater’s safety license; it’s required by Florida law to operate these vessels.

Plan for Fuel Consumption

Fuel is charged separately based on usage, so longer excursions will require budget planning.

Protect Your Electronics from Water

Bring waterproof cases or bags—anything you take onboard may get wet during your day on the water.
