Pontoon 20’

Our 20' Sylvan pontoon boats have a maximum capacity of 8 people. The boats have a 75HP OB motor, side steering wheel and a partial awning for sun protection. Rental prices do not include tax (8.875%) or Fareharbor booking fee (6%) that is non refundable.

DISCLAIMER

Please note that we are unable to guarantee one particular boat over another. Due to our high altitude marine environment and weather, we do not guarantee a working radio on all of our vessels, but you are welcome to bring along your own music. We also do not provide coolers on our boats but you may bring your own cooler as well. Personal grills are not allowed to be taken aboard the boat. We do NOT allow paddle boards or Kayaks on our rental boats. If you have any questions about what is or is not available on our boats prior to your arrival, please feel free to give us a call.

AVAILABILITY

PEAK SEASON: June 16th -August 31st, 2025: Rentals are available from 8:00am-7:00pm. OFF PEAK SEASONS: May 24th-June 15th, 2025 & September 1st-September 30th, 2025: Rentals are available from 9:00am- 4:30pm.

Any rental returned after a "scheduled" return time will incur a late fee of $75.00 + any additional rental time used.

ID required for Locals and Military Discount. Must be a Summit County ID.

RENTAL PERIODS

All boats are available to rent for a minimum of 2 hours. Our most popular rental periods are two, three and four-hour rentals, but you are welcome to call us for additional hours. The rental begins at the "scheduled" start time, not the time you leave the dock. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled start time to go through a reservoir orientation and a boat check-out.

FUEL

Fuel is included with the price of the rental.

TAX

Boat rental rates do not include tax (8.875%)

AGE RESTRICTIONS

Boat skippers must be at least 18 years old.

BOAT CAPACITY

Maximum boat capacity for each boat type includes ALL persons aboard (including infants and children) and cannot be negotiated. Any disregard for this policy could result in fines from the Sheriff patrol on the water and loss of the remainder of your rental time.

LIFE JACKETS

Life jackets are included in the cost of the rental. All children 13 and under are required to wear their life jackets at all times. Adult life jackets are provided aboard each boat for the maximum capacity of that boat and adults can choose whether or not to wear them.

RENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Rental customers are required to leave their drivers license and a credit card (Master Card, Visa, Discover or Amex) as security while on the water. Boats will NOT be rented without these documents.

DRINKING WHILE BOATING

Colorado Law States: It is illegal to operate any boat under the influence of alcohol! The same rules and levels while driving a car apply to boating as well. You are more than welcome to bring alcohol aboard the boat, but please be sure and bring a DD.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations Made Outside of 48 Hours: You may cancel your reservation more than 48 hours prior to your scheduled rental time for a with no penalty but the processing fee

Cancellations Made Within 48 Hours: Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled rental will receive an 80% refund of the rental fee.

Cancellations Made Within 24 Hours: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled rental will receive a 50% refund of the rental fee.

No-Call, No-Show Policy: If you do not show up for your rental and fail to contact us ahead of time, you will not receive a refund.

Weather policy: In case of inclement weather (at the time of your rental), you may cancel your reservation with no penalty if the boat does not leave the dock. Once you leave the dock, there is a 2-hour minimum on every rental. For example, if you've rented the boat for 3 hours and return after 1 hour due to weather, you will only be charged for 2 hours rather than the 3-hour rental period.

FISHING

We DO NOT sell fishing licenses and stock very limited fishing supplies in our ship store. If you plan on fishing, it is a good idea to obtain these items prior to renting a boat.

RESERVOIR RESTRICTIONS

Swimming, jet skiing, water skiing and tubing are not allowed on the reservoir. Stand Up Paddleboards are not allowed on the rental boats but they are allowed on the reservoir with the use of a PFD (life jacket) and leash. The speed limit on the reservoir is 30 mph.

PET POLICY

Dogs of all sizes ARE allowed on our rental boats. However, please be sure and protect our boats from excessive hair and any other messes as you would your own property. Boats returned in a unsatisfactory state will be charged a $135.00 minimum cleaning fee.

Cleaning Fee

Any rental returned in unsatisfactory condition, dirty, trashed, etc. will incur a minimum service fee of $135.00/hour.

Adventure Tips

Arrive Early for Orientation

Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your rental start time for a mandatory safety briefing and boat check-out at Dillon Marina.

Bring Your Own Cooler

While boats do not provide coolers, you’re encouraged to bring your own to keep beverages and snacks chilled on your trip.

Wear Life Jackets if With Children

All children 13 and under must wear life jackets during the trip; adults are provided jackets but wearing them is optional.

No Grilling Onboard

Personal grills are not allowed on the boats to maintain safety and protect the marina environment.
