Departing from your accommodation/meeting point, our day starts with the guided tour of the archeological site of Pompeii. Once a rich and thriving Roman city, Pompeii was buried from the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79AD, covered in ash and pumice.
After the visit we go to a vineyard to enjoy an easy lunch accompanied by a good glass of wine and then back to the bus to reach an high of 1000 meters and then climb to the top with an alpine guide, who will provide historical information about the crater.
Free time to enjoy the view over the Gulf of Naples and back to the bus for the return ride.
