Your first stop is Pompeii, one of the most popular tourist attractions in Italy. You will enjoy a historical, fun and interesting tour of the ruins. This incredible archeological site, a Roman commune swept away from the fiery eruption of the Vesuvius. You’ll walk through streets, houses and temples, bypassing amazingly well preserved mosaics, sculptures and more.

After Pompeii, we will continue to Herculaneum for another private visit of the ruins. Herculaneum’s ruins are less known, but are actually more well preserved than Pompeii because of the type of Volcanic muddy material the city was buried under. But the fate of Herculaneum was just as tragic. Legend has it, this Greek settlement was founded by Hercules.

Your English-speaking tour driver will suggest to you some local trattorias for a brief lunch in the area. After Herculaneum, the best conclusion of this tour is the visit of the volcano “Vesuvius” for the most beautiful panoramic pictures over Naples.

The still active volcano dominates the landscape, luring ominously over Naples and its provinces. Even though the Vesuvius is still an active volcano, the last eruption was in 1944. Here you will have the opportunity of stopping at a panoramic vista on the Volcano, which gifts us with breathtaking views of the entire city of Naples and surrounding landscapes.
