With each workout, your strength, coordination and flexibility will grow, alongside your self-confidence. In this class, you will learn the fundamentals of pole dance, from walking around the pole to the first spins, climbs and sits. All Pole Dance classes start with a warm-up, continue with developing skills on the pole and end with a cool-down stretch.
This class will leave you amazed by how many impressive moves you can do by now. To move to the next level, you should be competent in spinning climb, cross ankle release, basic inverts and leg hang.
Here you will learn a series of upside-down tricks where you hold onto the pole by hooking on with 2-3 points on your body. The spins become more dynamic and the combos more complex. We will be working on moves like aerial invert, butterfly, leg switches, as well as preparation for drops, shoulder-mount & more.
We recommend at least 2 classes per week at this level. To move to the next level you should feel confident in the execution of all intermediate tricks taught – on both sides. In addition, you should be confident on the Spinning Pole, even when executing longer combos.
To perform best in this class, please wear shorts, no jewellery and no moisturizer for at least 12 hours before class.
Shorts and form-fitting tops without moisturizer or oils enhance grip on the pole and improve safety.
Keep water nearby as pole dancing is physically demanding and staying hydrated supports endurance.
Progress through beginner to intermediate levels at your own speed to avoid injury and build confidence.
