Restrictions and Policies

  • You must be 18 years of age or older to drive your own snowmobile. To operate a 2-person snowmobile with a minor as the passenger you must be 25 years of age or older.
  • Helmet required for driver and passenger.
  • Only to be operated within 100 miles of Your Boat Club location in Ely, MN.
  • Snowmobile certification is required by Minnesota law for residents born after December 31st, 1976. Certification can be completed at: www.snowmobilecourse.com
  • Non-residents 18 years and older do not need certification.
