You climb into a battered van at dawn and the coastal heat gives way to a green hush as the jungle swallows the road. A chorus of birds punctuates the engine’s rumble, and soon the track opens to a clearing where ATVs sit ready, the zipline platforms rise above the canopy, and a dark cenote gapes like an inland well.
