You tap the app, the screen bright against a Parisian dusk, and the city shifts into a puzzle. Cobbled alleys and café facades slide past as your team becomes detective and witness, chasing clues through narrow streets and riverfront quays. The game drops you into a scandal from another era: an alchemist’s inquiry into accusations of witchcraft, with witnesses, riddles and choices that trace the city’s older layers.

The self-guided game is designed for approximately two hours; allow an extra 20–40 minutes for breaks or café stops.
Much of the route uses paved streets and is wheelchair- and stroller-accessible, though some sections may have cobbles—contact support if you need detailed accessibility guidance.
The activity is available for 2-hour sessions and can be accessed across most hours; check the booking window on your voucher for any local constraints.
The app and clues are typically offered in French and English; confirm language options at booking if you require another language.
The game’s alchemy theme echoes Paris’ medieval past: Île de la Cité was the city’s original core where guilds, craftsmen and early scholars lived and worked.
Self-guided walks are low-impact—stay on public paths, limit noise in residential zones, and support nearby independent cafes rather than littering the route.
