You begin at the Dive2gether Crete meeting point where staff fit gear, serve a welcome drink, and walk you through the safety briefing. Small groups—maximum six—mean briefings are tailored and guides steer each dive to local features: rocky arches, narrow gullies, and steep walls that funnel schools of wrasse and damselfish. Between dives you’ll amble to a beachfront taverna for a relaxing lunch (at your own expense) and swap notes while the day’s sunlight warms the stone terraces above the sea.
The dives themselves generally last 45–60 minutes each, with gently sloping entries from shore and occasional boat-access upgrades available from the dive center. Expect to encounter Mediterranean life in concentrated encounters: Posidonia seagrass beds, colourful nudibranchs, shy octopus tucked in crevices, and the occasional moray eel peeking from a crack.
