Enjoy the beautiful sceneries of the Tuscan region on this private tour of Pisa & Lucca. Your tour driver will take you to Piazza dei Miracoli which ranks as one of the world’s loveliest squares. There you can now admire the Leaning Tower one of the 7 miracles in the world, Pisa’s majestic Romanesque cathedral and the unusual round Baptistry. Pisa was an important Marine Republic, Galileo Galilei’s home-town and today has one of the oldest University in Europe. You’ll have also enough time to visit the historical centre and the charming roads along the Arno river.
After exploring Pisa we’ll continue our journey to Lucca. Lucca’s historical centre is attractive also in shops and elegant boutiques, take a walk on Via Fillungo and enjoy a stop in one of the local cafes and traditional restaurants. Here your tour driver can suggest you a nice place for lunch.
Lucca is a real jewel of Tuscany! Entirely surrounded by its five-century old walls, it offers to its inhabitants and tourist the possibility of a lovely and relaxing promenade all around and above the town. Lucca boasts an ancient history.
The famous Anfiteatro Square shows its Roman foundation along with the urban structure. There are lots of beautiful churches as well as elegant palaces and few glorious towers. Discover this little city step by step: you’ll remain truly fascinated! At the end of your day in Pisa and Lucca we will take a scenic drive back to La Spezia.
