Yes, visitors commonly bathe under Dark View Falls, but the rocks are slippery and there are no lifeguards—enter slowly and avoid strong currents after heavy rain.
The tour includes bottled water, snacks and rum punch; where admission is required (the falls) entrance is included as stated in the itinerary, but extra purchases like souvenirs are not covered.
Private, customizable versions are offered—contact the operator in advance to arrange modifications or private pickup times.
The west coast bears colonial layers—French settlement traces from the early 18th century and Wallilabou Bay’s reuse as a film set connect natural sites with human narratives.
Coral reefs off Buccament are fragile—avoid standing on reef and use reef‑safe sunscreen; follow local guidance to minimize impact at waterfall and beach sites.
