We'll take you back to the Barr trailhead parking lot in Manitou Springs. This is a shared ride service. We leave the summit at 1:00pm and 4:00pm.
We recommend reserving your seat several days in advance of your hike to ensure availability.
You should try to book your ride at least 24 hours ahead of your hike, but you can reserve a seat up until a few hours before departure. Shuttles can fill up quickly, so book your ride as soon as possible. Seat prices include Pikes Peak Highway Toll, timed entry fee, and all taxes. Gratuity is not included, drivers accept tips.
The shuttle will depart the summit via the Pikes Peak Highway. The shuttle departs the summit promptly at 1:00pm and 4:00pm. Plan to be at the summit at least 1 hour prior to your reserved shuttle departure time. If you do not make it to the summit before the scheduled departure time, we will have to leave without you, and you will need to find alternative transportation or plan to hike back down. You can text our office if you are early or late to see if we can accommodate you on another shuttle.
Ride time is approximately 1 hour from the summit to the Barr trailhead in Manitou Springs. We drop off at the trailhead parking lot in Manitou Springs.
If there are available seats, we may offer to sell them to other hikers from the summit who do not have a reservation.
Temperatures can vary quickly at high altitudes; bring layers to stay comfortable throughout the trip.
UV rays are stronger at higher elevations, so pack sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat.
Altitude and physical activity increase the risk of dehydration—carry plenty of water.
Observe animals from a distance and avoid disturbing natural habitats during your tour.
