The perfect way to spend a beautiful Michigan summer or fall day out on the water. Our 82' sailboat can hold up to 41 passengers, so there is plenty of room for you and your party to enjoy the feel of a classically-rigged schooner. We will cruise past Belle Isle, the largest city-owned park in the United States at 982 acres (Central Park in NYC is 843 acres) as we sail past downtown Detroit to the north and Windsor, Canada to the south.
We will pass freighters, fountains, and other sailboats that are always eager to photograph us. You can help set sails or sit and relax to the sound of waves and wind!
Lots of seating and room to walk about on our 65’ length deck. Plus two heads (bathrooms) are located down below via easy access full size stairs with railing (not the usual awkward ladder!)
Wonder is BYOB, and we have bottled water for sale. We also supply ice and coolers for you to bring whatever beverages or snacks you want to bring.
Even on sunny days, the breeze on the river can be cool, so a light windbreaker will keep you comfortable.
Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before departure to settle in and receive your safety briefing.
Decks can be slippery when wet; sturdy, non-slip footwear is recommended for safety.
Use waterproof or sealed bags to safeguard electronics from water spray during the sail.
The Detroit River has been a critical shipping and transportation corridor since the 18th century, shaping the region's development.
Local initiatives focus on maintaining water quality and protecting native bird habitats to keep the river healthy for future generations.
