You step out of the car with a camera bag and a tripod, the high country air pulling cool and clean at your face. North Saint Vrain Creek guides the trail, its voice rising and falling as you move toward Copeland Falls, Calypso Cascades and, if you continue, Ouzel Falls. Water tugs at lenses and attention; the forest opens and closes like a shutter, revealing mossy rocks, wildflowers in season, and cliffs that throw back light.

No; the guide operates under a commercial use permit, so participants do not need their own timed-entry reservation for the Wild Basin portion.
Ouzel Falls is about 5.5 miles round trip with roughly 1,000 feet of elevation gain—moderate in difficulty, especially at altitude.
