The streetlamps of Downtown Pensacola throw long, nervous shadows across brick sidewalks as your guide gathers the group at Pensacola Bay Brewery. The air tastes faintly of salt and hops; footsteps echo. You move at a relaxed pace through Jefferson Street and past the heavy-faced windows of the Pensacola Little Theatre, each pause a small stage for a layered tale — civic triumphs, fires, and the lives that refused to leave.
