In an hour you glide past colonial-era churches, the plaza where Florida formally entered the United States, and the living-history clusters that mark Pensacola’s layered past. The pace is brisk but easy: the city moves around you while your guide layers stories about early settlers, Spanish and British contests, and the town’s evolution into a Gulf Coast outpost.
