Unirea Salt Mine Leave in the morning from Bucharest and head to Unirea Salt Mine. Known as the biggest salt mine in Europe, stands today for one of the most important watering and climatic resorts in Romania.Unique in the country, but also in Europe,in the salt mine the humidity of the air is circa 50% and the air composition is richer in sodium ions that have spectacular ameliorative and prophylactic effects, what the breathing deficiencies and diseases are concerned.
Peles Castle We will continue our trip and in about 1 hours you will be in Sinaia City where you will visit Peles Castle, the summer residence of the first king of Romania, Carol I of Hohenzollern, of German origins. Peles Castle is a masterpiece of German new-Renaissance architecture, built in the late nineteenth century, considered by many one of the most stunning castles in Europe. Peles Castle was the first European castle entirely lit by electrical current. Was used as summer residence by the Royal family for more then 50 years , and the original interior decoration is still keeps intact. Then we will head back to Bucharest.
