About Ghost Hunting
Ghost hunting is the process of investigation places with a reputation of being haunted. These locations run the gambit from private homes, castles, businesses, battlefields, jails, etc. During the investigation, ghost hunters use various pieces of equipment to collect evidence of the paranormal. Everyone, and every group, has a preferred technique for investigation, which can include interviews, scientific methods, and psychic methods. The key is to find the combination that works best for you, which usually comes with practice.
Rules and Information
This is a private instigation. Tickets are not allowed to be sold for your private booking. If tickets are sold your night will be cancelled with no refund.
Smoking is NOT permitted inside the building. NO Drugs or Alcohol. Anyone found using drugs or alcohol will be immediately escorted from the premises and may face legal action. NO Séances or Ouija boards. Use of Ouija boards or conducting a séance, or trying to contact demonic energies will result in the immediate expulsion from the premises. Absolutely NO ""cleansings"" on the property – inside or out. Removal, damage or desecration of any Squirrel Cage Jail property will result in immediate expulsion from the premises and possible legal action.
What Can't I Bring?
No Ouija boards, no drugs, no alcohol. NO Cleansings, séances, satanic rituals, etc. A representative from the Historical Society of Pottawattamie County can remove you from the grounds if any of these rules are broken.
