You step out of the car at Ghosta, 750 meters above the Mediterranean, and the wind already has ideas. The pilot fits the harness, runs a quick check, and the hillside opens beneath you — terraced pine slopes giving way to the blue sweep of Jounieh Bay. For the next 12–15 minutes the city, the cable car to Harissa and the coastline unfold below; the sea seems to push you forward while the wind cradles the wing.
