A shallow breeze lifts as you walk the short, gently sloped path to the takeoff ridge above Kyrenia. From roughly 750 meters elevation, tandem pilots clip you into a harness and the ground slips away—olive terraces and the harbor’s pale curve shrinking beneath a wide, blue Mediterranean. The flight settles into an effortless glide: cliffs pushing thermals that let you drift over sea and stone, pilots pointing out coastal promontories and castles below.

Suitable for people with basic mobility; you should be able to walk a short uphill section and sit in a harness.
No—these are tandem flights flown by certified pilots; passengers do not need prior experience.
Operators require height and weight at booking and may refuse passengers above safety limits; disclose pregnancy, spinal or cardiovascular issues when booking.
Flights are weather-dependent; operators will cancel or reschedule if winds, rain, or unstable thermals make flying unsafe—cancellations usually follow a 24-hour refund policy.
Many operators offer high-resolution photo and video packages for purchase or as an add-on; check your booking confirmation for what’s included.
Kyrenia’s harbor and castle reflect a layered history of Byzantine, Lusignan and Venetian influence; flying above the town gives perspective on its maritime heritage.
Pilots typically avoid nesting cliffs and flight paths near sensitive habitats; follow operator guidance to minimize disturbance and pack out all trash.
