Moderate: able to hike uneven terrain for 2–4 hours, comfortable with short rappels and brief exposure during tandem flights.
Tandem flights are typically 10–12 minutes from launch to landing, giving panoramic views of the canyon and reservoir.

Yes—private transportation between your hotel, the paragliding site, and the canyoning location is included in the tour package.
If winds or heavy rain make the activities unsafe, the operator will cancel or reschedule; full refunds are available if canceled at least 24 hours prior.
The Guatapé region grew with Antioquia’s rural settlement and later hydroelectric projects that reshaped shorelines; local towns retain strong campesino cultural ties and masonry art.
Stay on established routes to limit erosion; many operators follow carry-in/carry-out waste practices and avoid disturbing nesting birds along the gorge.
