Before dawn the bus peels out of Lima and the coastline slides into a long, sun-bleached ribbon. By midmorning the ocean loosens the shore: boats cut into cold, productive waters and the Ballestas Islands rise like a colony of motion—sea lions barking, guanay cormorants clicking and the occasional Humboldt penguin bobbing at the bow.

Pickup begins around 04:00 in Miraflores, Barranco and San Isidro; the full itinerary returns to Lima around 22:30–23:00 the same night.
