The sail begins with the hull slipping through glassy bay water, the bow of the 47-ft Daydreams sitting low and ready as the shoreline fades. Salt air tugs at your hat; dolphins appear alongside the boat, skin flashing as if inviting you to follow. Within an hour you’re anchored at a shallow reef near Shell Island—mask on, fins tucked—where rays and schools of baitfish thread through seagrass beds and the water pulls you into a quiet, blue world.
