About

Palmers Brewery, based on the banks of the River Brit, in Bridport West Dorset has been brewing cask real ales since 1794. Our guided tour of the historic brewhouse follows the traditional process from the raw ingredients through to a few halves of the final product.

The tour starts and ends in Palmers Wine Store. Free parking is available in the brewery's car park on the north side of the brewery.

Unfortunately we are unable to receive people with mobility problems or walking sticks on our tours as our historic brewhouse has a lot of steep steps. Dogs are also not permitted. If you are unsure please call Palmers Wine Store in advance and they will be more than happy to advise you.

Young adults ages 13 and up are very welcome but they must be accompanied by an adult.

For younger children please call to discuss, we request a maximum of 2 children per adult, to be supervised at all times. Any very young children in arms to be in a baby carrier.
