January 11th - 17x17 Round ZODIAC BOARDS! is a two-hour, instructor-led painting workshop in Omaha, Nebraska, United States that pairs casual socializing with hands-on creativity. In this session you choose a zodiac motif and paint on a 17x17 round wooden board, leaving with a finished wall-ready piece. The workshop is designed for beginners and repeat makers: the instructor walks the room with step-by-step demos, one-on-one tips, and easy techniques for sketching, blocking color, layering metallic accents, and sealing the wood for display. What makes this class stand out in Omaha’s growing arts scene is the focus on a tactile, decorative object—the round board—that translates astro-inspired designs into modern home art. The zodiac theme gives the evening a personal angle: participants are encouraged to Enter your Birthdate and sign in the notes or guest line when you register so the instructor can suggest glyphs, color palettes, or constellation placements that suit each guest. Materials are included—gesso, acrylics, brushes, and the 17x17 board—so you arrive ready to create. Wine and beer are permitted, which keeps the atmosphere relaxed but productive. This experience is ideal for date nights, small groups, or solo makers seeking a creative night out. Expect to stand or lean at easels for portions of the class, work at a measured pace, and receive practical tips for finishing and mounting your board at home. The instructor’s approach is workshop-style rather than a paint-along cookie cutter: you’ll follow guided steps but make choices about color, line weight, and ornamentation so every finished board is uniquely yours. The activity plays well with Omaha’s indoor entertainment options—it's weatherproof, accessible in most venues, and suited to winter evenings when outdoor options are limited. It’s also friendly for families with older kids who can handle paint and focus for two hours. Leave with more than a souvenir: learn techniques you can reproduce on canvases or furniture. Booking is straightforward via the provided referral link; spaces tend to fill for weekend slots, so reserve early. Whether you’re assembling a gallery wall, crafting a personalized gift, or simply craving a structured creative night, this round zodiac board workshop turns astrology and simple materials into a memorable, display-ready piece. Classes usually accommodate mixed skill levels and small cohorts to preserve instructor attention; expect about 12–20 participants per session depending on the venue. The format supports modifications for guests who want simplified zodiac glyphs or more intricate constellation maps. Wear clothes you don’t mind splattering with paint and bring a tote for transport; finished boards are thick but benefit from a padded flat box if you’re traveling a distance. The session also provides guidance on hanging hardware options and simple varnishing tips so your board resists dust and light. Enjoy
