You will visit Paestum, a greek stronghold and explore ancient caves on this private tour Paestum was founded over 2,500 years ago by the Greeks, who were attracted by the sweeping, flat countryside, and rich soil, which was ideal for farming – still a thriving industry here. They built three beautiful, columned temples, (not unlike the Pantheon in Greece) which are fairly intact to this day, and many Greek artifacts which have been discovered in this area are on display in the museum there.

Not much further south, you’ll find the natural Caves of Pertosa, also known the “Angel’s Caves”

An itricate system of show caves, where the sunken river, Negro, has created a small, underground lake. Said-to-be 35 million year-old caves the area extends for about 3,000 meters underground, and were first discovered in the late 19th century when many ancient items made from stone, bone and metal were also found there. Let’s take you on a cultural experience 3000 years back into time.
