If you’ve always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, experience unparalleled adventure and see the world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. Get your SCUBA diving certification with the PADI® Open Water Diver course – the world’s most popular and widely recognized scuba course.

To enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with SCUBA diving is required.

We’re a professional PADI Dive Center and a NAUI Career Development Center located in the “Dive Capital of the World”. Many people ask which agency they should choose. It’s personal preference. Both PADI and NAUI are recognized globally at dive centers and resorts.

Essential Gear

The fit and comfort of your personal equipment are keys to having an enjoyable diving experience. At a minimum, you’ll be required to own your own mask, snorkel, fins, cutting tool and surface marker buoy (SMB) when you begin your first course. The Key Largo Dive Center can help you select gear that’s right for you.
