This no experience necessary class is for kids(12+) and adults who would like to learn not only how to swim in a mermaid tail, but how to do flips, turns, twists, bubble tricks and more! This class's default timing is 10AM, but can be scheduled for anytime during the day, after booking, please discuss your preferred time frame with your instructor. Choose your preferred location that is closest to you!

What to expect:##

After booking, your PADI Mermaid Instructor will reach out to you via phone to plan the details of your class location, time, and send your eLearning.

We offer classes in LA, OC, San Diego, and on Catalina Island. When booking, you will select your location.

Once at class you will pick out a mermaid tail, mask, and snorkel to borrow. After a short instructional safety briefing and stretching session, you will enter the water and begin learning the ins and outs of swimming as a mermaid!

A PADI Mermaid Instructor will teach you important safety techniques like "Emergency Tail Removal" and the "Back Float" before venturing into water too deep to stand.

Among other skills, you will learn basic freediving techniques like how to dive under the water and swim as a mermaid with proper breath-holding technique.

As a parting gift you will receive access to an online gallery where you can see photos and videos from class.

There is a maximum of 6 guests per session. Guests may need to take turns getting in the water depending on the size of the group, and the ages of participants. Sizes are available for children and adults up to size 28 women's, or men's 4XL.

Duration:##

The entire experience takes no longer than four hours from meeting to drying off and saying our goodbyes. Depending on your skill level, you may be finished earlier.

Attention Parents:##

For children under 18, parents do not need to participate or get in the water, but must be present for the duration of the class.
