PADI Mermaid & Advanced Mermaid Bundle

Dive into the magical world of mermaiding with our 2-day PADI Mermaid & Advanced Mermaid course bundle! This immersive experience begins with online eLearning, so you can complete the theory portion before your adventure starts. Once in Avalon, you'll join us for two days of fun, learning, and exploration in both shallow and deep water.

Day 1: PADI Mermaid Class - Refine Your Mermaid Skills##

Our journey starts in a controlled environment where the water is shallow enough to stand but deep enough to practice your mermaid skills. You'll master fundamental mermaid swimming techniques, like the dolphin kick and graceful underwater turns. With guidance from your instructor, you’ll gain confidence and refine your mermaid style. By the end of the day, you'll feel like a natural in your tail and monofin!

Day 2: Advanced Mermaid – Kelp Forests & Rescue Skills##

On the second day, we venture into the beautiful waters of Casino Point Dive Park. Here, surrounded by breathtaking kelp forests, you’ll take your mermaiding skills to the next level. In addition to swimming as a mermaid, you'll learn how to be a good buddy and how to perform rescues in case another mermaid is in distress. We’ll also spend time capturing photos and videos of your underwater adventure, giving you memories to last a lifetime!

What to Expect:##

No SCUBA Diving: Although PADI is famous for SCUBA courses, this class focuses on freediving and mermaid techniques. Content Creation: After mastering your skills, we’ll take photos and videos of your mermaid dives, so you can show off your progress and new skills. Open Water Adventure: Experience the beauty of Catalina’s underwater world while building essential mermaid rescue and deep-water skills.

Day 1 – Confined Water Sessions 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM: Mermaid Theory & Knowledge Review – 128F Sumner Avenue, Catalina Island Mermaids. 3:00 PM: PADI Mermaid Confined Water Session – Step Beach

Day 2 – Open Water Adventure 12:30 PM: Advanced Water Sessions – Casino Point 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Content Creation & Mermaid Pod Swim – Casino Point

Who Can Join?##

To enroll in the PADI Mermaid & Advanced Mermaid Bundle, you must be at least 12 years old, swim 100m/320ft without aids, float for at least 10 minutes, and be in good physical health.
