Successfully complete the training and you can opt for an exciting dive trip to explore vibrant coral reefs or intriguing wrecks, all under expert supervision.
2 hours
The 2-3 hour course is planned to allow you the opportunity to train in the pool for a few hours, then participate in a optional dive boat trip either later that same day or the next day. During the course and optional boat dives you will be under the continued guidance of a certified scuba instructor.
The course starts out pool-side with a brief training session to demonstrate proper equipment usage, safety procedures, and explain basic scuba procedures and skills. Next you will progress to the shallow pool where your instructor will demonstrate basic safety skills that you need to know for safe diving.
Upon successful accomplishment of the skills you will be approved to progress to the optional next step - joining a dive boat trip to the local reefs or shallow wrecks accompanied by and under the direct supervision of a certified Scuba Instructor. Note that this is not a scuba certification course and you will not receive any certification, and you may only dive under the direct supervision of an Instructor or Divemaster.
Course includes complimentary use of all required scuba gear during training. This course is for the pool session with an instructor only and does not include any subsequent dive boat trips which are available separately. Minimum age 12 years to participate.
Drink plenty of water before and after your dive to stay hydrated and help your body recover from exertion.
Reserve your spot early, especially during peak seasons, as the program is popular among visitors.
Pay close attention to your instructor’s guidelines to ensure safety and fun during your pool and dive sessions.
Apply reef-safe sunscreen if you're outdoors before or after your dive to protect marine environments.
