About

This course is designed as a direct follow-up to the PADI Open Water certification program. Advanced Open Water Certification builds on what you've learned previously, introducing new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving. Part one provides two one tank dives where you'll practice the new skills from your on-line e-learning (completed separately). These include exploring the practical and psychological aspects of deep diving, how to navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time, and how to optimize your use of a dive computer. You'll further expand your knowledge base by completing two programmed disciplines plus one “elective” category as found on the Pro-Diver website.

Please note to achieve your advanced Open Water program you'll need to complete part two - boat diving.

Prerequisites

• PADI, or other qualifying certification programs for Open Water Diving. • The completion of your PADI Advanced Open Water e-learning program. (see link below for details and sign-up) • 15 years old (12 for Junior Advanced Open Water Diver). • The paperwork includes medical questions which you must read before you arrive. Any “yes” answers will require a physicians release before we can take you in the water. Give us a call with any questions!
