Unguided Trip

Looking for a Smooth Flow with beautiful scenery. This stretch of the Toccoa River is perfect to relax and enjoy the day on the water.

Rent a Single Kayak or Tandem Kayak and enjoy a day on the Toccoa River. Enjoy 6 miles of beautiful scenery on the Toccoa River. Our team will give you all the information you need to know about the Toccoa River, launch you and will be waiting for you at your takeout location to help you out of the water and shuttle you back to your starting location.

We are required to issue everyone a life jacket. Children 13 and younger are required by law to wear a life jacket at all times. Our policy is childen 12 years old and older can operate a single kayak or paddleboard. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian on their trip. All children 6 -11 years old must be accompanied by an adult in a Tandem. Must be 4 years old to participate.

Trips are approximately 2-3 Hours, depending on water flow. We offer shuttle service if you are staying at the Blue Ridge Toccoa KOA or Blue Ridge RV Resort. Public meet us at your launch location 15 Minutes before your scheduled trip (Tammen Park)

The depth of the water changes from place to place in the river and there may be small rapids and rocks along the way. This trip is suitable for most people who can swim (unless there is swift water) but there is risk associated with all water related activities and you will be required to sign a waiver of liability prior to beginning your river trip. There are no safety personnel on the river so you are responsible for your own safety. Please be careful and keep your life jacket securely fastened at all times.
