Oceanport Paddle Club is a waterfront paddle sports provider based in Oceanport, New Jersey, offering guided stand up paddleboard (SUP) trips, classes, camps, and rentals. The organization runs a diverse set of experiences including the fast-paced Tide Ride to the Bay, mindfulness-focused Stand Up Paddleboard therapy sessions, SUP Yoga classes, Mega SUP multi-person rentals, customizable Paddle Parties and BoardBond events, structured River Kids single sessions and week-long River Kids camp, an after-school program with certified teachers, a teen leadership program called Creek Pro, and a fitness program titled Focus & Fury.
Programs accommodate beginners through advanced paddlers, with activities available for children as young as six and structured youth programs for ages 7–17 and teens 12–18. Instructors emphasize safety and progressive skill development; River Kids materials state over 25 years of combined instructor experience. Rentals routinely include paddles and life jackets, and group events commonly feature 75 minutes of guided paddling followed by land-based festivities and optional water games. The Tide Ride to the Bay is a guided 7.4-mile route that uses the ebb tide to reach Sandy Hook Bay and concludes with live music and access to The Proving Grounds.
Creek Pro blends high-level SUP training with leadership and small-business basics for teens, while mindfulness and yoga sessions focus on wellness, anxiety reduction, and balance on calm water. Families, schools, and corporate groups can book customized events, camps, and classes that prioritize safety, instructor qualifications, and age-appropriate programming. Scheduling is seasonal with an emphasis on summer programming and weekends.
