Basic and Advanced or Tour Level One Instructor Courses
Take your SUP to the next level and learn to teach those skills to others. For paddlers with a minimum of Advanced Flatwater SUP accreditation or equivalent skills, training and experience.
Paddle Canada Basic and Advanced Instructor This 2 day course will cover Basic and Advanced Flatwater Skills from efficient forward stroke to pivot turns and rescues. We spend our time learning how to teach the skills, safety and knowledge using a variety of techniques. Lots of water time and lots of fun. Perequisite: Paddle Canada Advanced Flatwater Skills certification or equivalent experience and knowledge.
Paddle Canada Tour Level 1 Instructor This 2 day course will cover the PC curriculum for Tour Level 1 courses. We spend our time learning how to teach the skills, safety and knowledge using a variety of techniques. Focus is on skills, navigation, route planning, group management, decision making, safety, paddling skills and more. Perequisite: Advanced Flatwater Instructor and knowledge/skills at level higher than Level 1. Lots of water time with this course and lots of fun.
